New Year’s Fun!

First off! I want to thank Ciel12 and !Kenzie__ for arranging and coming up with these great events! Also, i’ve heard that everyone had fun at the New Years Party celebrating 2020 as we left all our troubles and awkward moments behind in 2019. Everyone was so hyped and enjoyed each other’s company, so it was nice to come around to celebrate. It was sad to see all those who weren’t able to show up, hopefully you can stick with us to see another year.
Our special New Year’s Event was the Mr & Mrs Event where it was like prom and included voting for a couple. The event was a major success and Interpol even reached its room limit of 75! The lovely couple that won was: GucciMv & Nalyd17_! Congratulations!
We have recently been on an Events Spree with the events team hosting daily costume contests. The latest game’s theme was ‘Movie Characters’ and the lucky winner was: Iron_man123! Congratulations!
Hope to see more lovely events occur and wish luck to you all beforehand 😀
New Year, New Base!

Entering a new year means new goals, new hobbies and new opportunities. Well, this year we have a new base design! A huge thank you to our lovely members: AnisMs7, Tom.J, And ::.Crystal.:: for helping our previous Interpol Founder, blackmagic029 create our new base! It is evident that so much hard work went into it! It sure is a beauty, and i’m sure it attracts more recruits each week! More snacks for our habbos to enjoy 😀 and more convenient spacing for more special occasions. Now, all we have to do is continue to stay active and keep up our room population. Everyone’s hard work was contributed to our new, lovely base so we can contribute some of our time and continue what we do at Interpol: making new friends, funny conversations, promotions, trainings and more! However, make sure not to get caught breaking any rules! HRs are always watching you and will log infractions if needed ;). We currently have many events happening in our base, so make sure to have fun and participate!

😀 Kidding, now all my fellow music lovers throughout all the genres, gather. Now I love Billie Eilish as much the next person does, but there are more genres out there to listen to! Pop, RnB & Soul, Hip-Hop, Jazz, Contemporary, and a whole lot more and yet interpol has a lot in common with music choices! That’s why we have our own radio to join onto to listen to your fellow coworkers music interests and your own requests! Just join onto the Interpol Radio! If you want to request your favorite song just send in the title and singer into the Radio Requests Chat, then sit back and enjoy the music.
If you want to join and help host and become a DJ, apply for the Media Team, or talk to misch111 or turkeyiscool1 for any questions further. Music from all around the world could be brought together just by sending in a request. Right now, from where I’m from, trending artists right now are Selena Gomez, Rihanna, Billie Eilish and her brother Finneas. I recommend listening to Finneas’ new and first album since helping Billie in her career, his new album is called Blood Harmony, and i think some of you will like and or love his music.

Naughty Naughty!

The amount of naughty Interpolians has increased over the past couple of weeks! >:( Here is a friendly reminder of some of the rules that are commonly broken:
1. Dancing is prohibited in base unless permission has been given by a founder .
2. Neon, themed and @colour@ chat are prohibited unless permission has been given.
3. Effects are prohibited unless given permission by a founder. This includes moonwalk, lightsabers, habnam etc.
4. The uniform guidelines must be followed regardless of what rank you are. This means no masks, no underwear and bikinis. Here is a list of all clothing items that are banned in base: http://inthabbo.com/uniform-policy/
Why do these rules exist? While many of you may think Habbo is just a game (and yes, it is indeed, a game), Interpol strives to be a place where everyone feels welcome and can relax. However, it is also a roleplay of a workplace which means we need to maintain some level of professionalism. This is why we have rules set in place, such as no dancing and no silly clothing. While it may seem like the rules make things boring, it keeps everything in order. If we didn’t have these rules, quite frankly, Interpol would turn into a great big mess. If you really cannot control the urges to see your pixel self do the Duck Funk and Pogo Mogo and desperately want to go blind from neon chat, ClubNX welcomes you with open arms 😀

What is worker of the week?
Worker of the week is Interpol’s way of recognizing our hardest workers. Not only do WoTW winners get a special badge that they get to keep forever, but they also get 10 tokens!
How do I get WoTW?
It’s simple really! The electives are always keeping an eye on everyone in base. If your hard work has been noticed, then you will be considered for worker of the week. Keep working hard and you might see your name on here next time! Hard work never goes unnoticed 😉

If you’re active in base, there’s no way you have not encountered the cabbage queen herself, aditi78 (yes, she literally has a cabbage palace). Aditi is also an ex overseer of the Media Team, so I think it’s perfect that she gets interviewed for this edition of the Interscoop!
M: Hello aditi78! Thankyou so much for letting me interview you for this edition of the Interscoop. To start with, can you please introduce yourself to the readers?
A: Hi I’m Aditi but usually people call me Adi or Adidas. I’m the weird kid who hangs out in the cafe and beats people at Skribbl C:
M: You’re Interpol’s favourite weird kid and skribbl master 😉
What is your favourite thing about Interpol?
A: I can’t pick because honestly, everything is. But if I have to, it’s definitely the affairs teams. MISCHA DON’T PUT THIS IN BUT I FORGOT TO TELL YOU, I’M NOT PREGNANT!!!!!!!!!
M: That’s great news aditi! I’m sure everyone will be so glad to hear that you are not pregnant. I might even convince ciel to hold a special party in base!
M: Do you have a favourite memory at Interpol?
A: I do have a lot but the one memory that really stands out is of the time when I was mad at Tomf. He probably does not remember this but he started running around the base screaming, “I HAVE BROKEN ADITI HOW DO I FIX ADITI HELP” and got Teffy to help him ‘fix me’ XD
M: Hahahahaha wow
M: Is there something you’d like to see changed at Interpol?
A: I think I’d like to see a change in the way members think about rules. In the past two weeks that I’ve been here I’ve seen almost every single rule being broken by various members. I get that they just want to have fun but even after HRs ask them to stop several times they either ignore them or just give them a rude reply.

A: I’m a great person in general thanks!

M: When did you join Interpol and what made you want to join?
A: I joined Interpol on 26th June 2014, around 2 months after it was first opened. Until then I worked at NOPD but I felt as though I was not enjoying it. So I thought why not transfer to INT, especially since one of my friends worked there too. Mena offered me DC and I took it 😀
M: Well I’m so glad you joined!! 😀
M: Who is your favourite person?
A: From Interpol or in general?
M: Hmm, from Interpol
A: Well, I’ll have to say I am. But Kris comes second, of course he’s my husband and all. Mischit and Smella are a close third ❤_ ❤
M: Did you seriously pick yourself？
A: Yes 🙂
M: If you were going to be stranded on a desert island for a year and could only bring 3 things, what would it be?
A: Hmm, my phone because obviously I need to bother people. A blanket andThe entire DVD set of Merlin and Grey’s Anatomy (and the tv ofc )
M: Honestly, good idea cause I know you’d go insane without bothering people for a day. ;P
A: You know me too well
M: If animals could talk, which would be the rudest and why?
A: Cockroaches would definitely be the rudest since well, THEY ARE SCARY AND WE HURT THEM. Did I mention they’re scary?
